In this workshop, we will address problematic areas as we build on foundational postures towards health in the hips and spine. Learn powerful postures to build into your yoga practice that can be utilized for a lifetime. Implementing the six movements of the hips, including: extension, flexion, abduction, adduction, internal and external rotation, will help to create freedom and ease into the body.
As we focus on opening the hips and releasing tightness and tension, we become more aware of areas in our life that need attention. We will investigate areas where we are living in an unconscious state and living in the past.
This class is suitable for all level of students as well as a powerful education opportunity for continuing yoga teachers.
What to bring: a yoga strap or a towel for use as a prop.
